About Me

I am a dedicated and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with a strong academic foundation and a practical, approachable style. My mission is to help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, PTSD, sleep challenges, and more with evidence-based, results-driven therapy.

My Background & Qualifications

My journey began with an MA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, where I focused on sleep and student mental health. This BPS-accredited degree provided a deep understanding of psychological principles and how to apply them effectively.

I then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT at the University of the West of Scotland, gaining specialist training in treating:

Anxiety disorders
Depression
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Phobias
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Experience & Specialisms

I was privileged to be the first CBT practitioner at the Beatson Cancer Charity, where I supported cancer survivors in rebuilding their confidence and returning to work after treatment. This experience reinforced my passion for helping individuals achieve meaningful, lasting change.

In addition to CBT, I specialise in sleep therapy, helping adults and children overcome chronic sleep issues. Using CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia), I help clients:
